SUNY Empire State College is not like any other college. They are distinct in their focus on providing higher education opportunities to adult learners often with family and work responsibilities. They offer flexible, personalized programs to suit individual needs with a hybrid mix of online and mentor-based face-to-face instruction and short-term residencies at 35 locations throughout New York State. They also provide interactive online education with the largest distance learning program in the state.
Over the past 20 years, we have developed a comprehensive understanding of this unique, forward-thinking college and its important role in the SUNY System. We prepared the 2001 Capital Plan, the 2006 Update, and the 2013 Facilities Master Plan, all of which identified projects to support the long-term development of the College, and many of the subsequent implementation projects.
“Few people know Empire State College as well as the staff of JMZ, and this understanding will be evident in a number of structures around here for many years to come.”
President, SUNY Empire State College
“They have a natural disposition to listen, interpret and incorporate input from a broad range of stakeholders within our college community and consistently deliver results beyond expectations. Our ability to make a multitude of critical decisions is enhanced by the knowledge, experience, and responsiveness of JMZ.”
