JMZ was retained to define the space program and select the site for the $100 million ETEC facility at the University at Albany. We conducted programming interviews to determine space requirements and departmental adjacencies. The resulting program included space for instruction, support, research, and faculty offices.

JMZ also studied six different sites on or near the University at Albany campus to accommodate the new facility. A comprehensive analysis was completed for each site including infrastructure, logistics, premium costs, LEED considerations, and building configuration.
