SUNY Orange
Kaplan Hall, the centerpiece of SUNY Orange’s Newburgh Branch Campus, is evidence of the powerful impact that investing in community colleges can have on students’ lives. When the building opened, students reported that their impressive new surroundings motivated them and gave them hope for the possibilities of the future. The transformation of this campus stirred a sense of renewed pride in the College and the City where neighbors can now enjoy evening walks around the campus, an area that they previously considered unsafe after dark.
Since 1995, we have collaborated with SUNY Orange to plan and design facilities that support their goal of providing access to high quality education in a safe and sustainable environment. A highlight of our work at the College’s main campus is the Rowley Center for Science and Engineering, a major capital project to accommodate for their exemplary STEM programs. In keeping with the College’s commitment to environmental stewardship, both Kaplan Hall and the Rowley Center achieved LEED Gold Certification.
