SUNY Cobleskill
Students attend SUNY Cobleskill for its renowned programs centered on innovative hand-on learning in fields such as Animal Science and Aquaculture. We designed the Alumni Commons residential complex to reflect the interests of this unique student population and invigorate the agricultural zone of the campus. Upper level students are offered choices of suites or townhouses centered around an outdoor community space. The Commons pavilion is used for social gatherings and instruction, creating a true living/learning environment in a pastoral setting.
Since 1999, we have partnered with SUNY Cobleskill on many studies that helped shape their campus. Alumni Commons was the outcome of a Residence Hall Master Plan Study that recommended a transitional living environment to act as a bridge between the early college experience of dormitory life and the adult responsibilities of independent living.
